Identity automation uses the Microsoft Graph API and the Graph PowerShell SDK to perform provisioning, reporting, and remediation programmatically — replacing manual, error-prone clicks with tested, repeatable, source-controlled tooling.
Why it matters
Automation eliminates hours of manual work, makes identity operations consistent and auditable, and scales as the organization grows. The legacy MSOnline/AzureAD modules are deprecated, so Graph is the supported path.
